The Lancaster Creative Factory offers art classes & workshops for all ages & summer camps for children & teenagers. Participants will work with professionally trained  teaching artists to explore creativity through the visual arts and crafts.

CHILDREN
Introduction to Painting
Ages: 7—12
Teaching Artist: Lyndsay Hoke

Introduction to Painting Ever wanted to learn how to paint? This is the perfect opportunity to learn the gauntlet of methods! Join us as we explore acrylic, water color, gouache, and tempera paint as we texture, layer, and produce one of a kind masterpieces!

Mixed Media Collage
Ages: 7—12
Teaching Artist: Lyndsay Hoke

This class offers the exploration of media, discovering how to incorporate many materials into one final piece. Focus will be on collage, found materials, self expression, and color theory. Learn historical artist and their unique technique.

Bring your Potter excitement and learn to make a wheel thrown wand,  a clay covered book of spells, your own magical animal, and more!

Pottery Wheel Camp
Ages: 8 and up

Teaching Artist: Amy Holland

Kids get lost in the creative process when the pottery wheel begins to spin!  Each day will be spent discovering the connection between hands and clay, learning about centering, and making vessels and bowls.  Glazing will make everything they make functional.

Fashion Designing Teaching Artist: Lyndsay Hoke

Learn to draw figures and faces for fashion design! Design dresses, skirts, pants, blouses, jewelry, shoes and more! We will look at pattern, color and trends. Learn to draw a male and female face with makeup and many different hairstyles.

This class offers the exploration of media and discovering the process of printmaking. Come learn relief printing, the elements and principles of design, the design process, experiment and grow!
