2026 Workshops & Events

Fundraising Event

Empty Bowls 2026

Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to fight hunger. The basic premise is simple: potters and other craftspeople have donated their time and talent to create handcrafted, ceramic bowls. Local area restaurants generously provide soup and/or bread, and guests are invited to a simple meal. In exchange for a $35 ticket donation, guests attend the meal, and are asked to keep a bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world.

The money raised for this year’s event will be donated to

Meals on Wheels of Lancaster, Inc.

in an effort to end hunger and food insecurity locally.

In 2025, volunteers successfully raised over $15,000 and we are hoping to reach our 2026 goal of $17,000!

***

  • Bowls are hand-made one-of-a-kind by local artists!
  • Live and Silent Auction items will be available, as well as items for purchase!
  • Live music, comaraderie, and delicious food from local restaurants!
