Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to fight hunger. The basic premise is simple: potters and other craftspeople have donated their time and talent to create handcrafted, ceramic bowls. Local area restaurants & bakeries generously donate soup, bread and desserts, and guests are invited to a simple meal.
In exchange for a $35 ticket donation, guests attend the meal, and are asked to keep a hand-crafted bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world.
***
The proceeds will be donated to
Meals on Wheels of Lancaster, Inc.
***
In additon to the meal, there will be live music by the band Easily Amused, an Art aution, and wheel throwing & glass blowing demonstrations!
Come enjoy an evening out with us in support of an awesome cause!
